1. Purpose and Characteristics
The DYS-400 flat top tester is a specialized instrument developed and produced by Beijing Tiandi Xinghuo Technology Development Co., Ltd. in accordance with the national standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 50315-2011 "Technical Standards for Onsite Testing of Masonry Engineering". It is suitable for estimating the compressive elastic modulus, compressive strength, or compressive working stress of ordinary or porous brick masonry. The instrument is composed of two flat hydraulic jacks, a manual oil pump, a digital pressure gauge, a reaction frame, and a handheld strain gauge. The compressive strength of the masonry is tested by pushing the pressure plate up through the piston to generate a force on the block. The test results are intuitive and local damage is detected.
1. Using a manual pump to load the oil cylinder, the operation is simple and convenient.
2. The digital display pressure gauge can directly read the force value.
