1、 Purpose:
The BZT non stick tire drying time tester is mainly used for measuring the drying time of non stick tires in GA/T298-2001 "Road Marking Coatings" and JT/T 280-2004 "Road Marking Coatings" for "room temperature type marking coatings" and "heating type marking coatings".
2、 Basic parameters:
1. Tire size: Ø 241 ± 6mm
2. Instrument weight: 15.8 ± 0.2kg
3、 Usage:
Apply the sample to the glass sheet (200mm × 150mm × 5mm), coated in an 80mm wide strip parallel to the short edge of the glass sheet at the center of the long edge. The thickness of the wet paint film is 200um ± 20um. After application, immediately press the stop watch. After 10 minutes, hold the handle of the measuring instrument in both hands and roll the measuring instrument from the center of the short edge of the test board to the other end at a constant speed for 1 second. Immediately observe the tire of the measuring instrument with the naked eye for any sticking paint. If there is any sticking paint, immediately wipe the tire clean with a cotton cloth moistened with acetone or methyl ethyl ketone. Repeat the test every 30 seconds until the tire is not sticking paint, and stop the stop watch to record the time, This time is the 'non sticking time' of the sample
4、 Precautions:
When rolling the instrument, the handle should be gently held with both hands to avoid any force other than the weight of the instrument from being applied to the paint.
2. The instrument should be placed in a cool and dry place, avoiding sunlight and deformation.
