1. Purpose and Characteristics
DYS-150 in-situ single shear tester is developed and produced according to the national standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 50315-2011 "Technical Standard for Onsite Testing of Masonry Engineering". It is a specialized instrument suitable for testing the shear strength of building masonry. This instrument is a small hydraulic device that uses a piston to lift and push the cover plate to generate a force to test the shear strength of the masonry block, causing the upper and lower surfaces of the block to shear. The shear strength of the masonry block is calculated by measuring the force at which the block shears. The test results are intuitive and local damage is detected.
